Half-leather binding, 3 cm hinge broken but hold. Overall an excellent copy. Travel account to the Holy land. Not in Tobler,p. 216, who lists the first edition Metz 1819 edition and the new edition Chatelet 1860 only. This edition not mentioned. Not in Röhricht. * This copy includes the scarce map "Palestine ou Terre Sainte". "A joindre a l'edition de la Bibliotheque catholique de la Belgique," it is hardly present in any of "La Terre Sainte..." editions, either because it has been removed or not included at all. Engraved, measuring ca. 260X185 mm, unsigned, it depicts the Holy Land from Lebanon at the north down to the southern shore of the Dead Sea. Scarce.
